I've just updated the 'Latest Images' gallery with six new images made during the summer, if you can call it that. This year's been the coldest, wettest summer I've experienced since moving here almost 6 years ago. Vegetation growth was a whole month behind and Spring didn't properly arrive until June. The only redeeming factor of the cold start to the summer has been a shorter Midge season, although they're trying hard now! Nature seems to have almost caught up again and the Heather is starting to bloom nicely, albeit a couple of weeks later than last year. August hasn't been too bad so far, which hopefully means I'll be able to add some purple heather images at the end of the summer-fingers crossed! I hope you enjoy the new additions.
